Biography

Anton Reznikov is a Ukrainian-born contemporary artist known for his thought-provoking works that explore themes of identity, displacement, and the psychological effects of war. Born in Ukraine, Anton’s early work focused on surrealistic depictions of modern life, often incorporating bold colors and abstract figures. His artistic voice grew louder after 2022 when he was forced to flee Ukraine due to the full-scale Russian invasion.

Currently based in Germany, Reznikov channels his personal experiences of migration, trauma, and media saturation into his unique art style, combining surrealism with social critique. His recent works, including “On TV She Sees Neither Enemy, Nor Friend. Just Spot”, focus on the depersonalization and detachment felt by individuals consumed by war images on television screens. His style often employs a mix of traditional techniques with a modern, raw expressionism, making his works both visually striking and emotionally charged.

Anton’s art has been exhibited in galleries across Europe, gaining increasing recognition for its depth, emotional resonance, and relevance to today’s socio-political landscape. His Instagram profile reflects his personal journey as an artist in exile, documenting his artistic process and reflections on the human condition amid ongoing conflict.
